How a Yes or No reading works
Every card in the deck carries one answer. Cards of growth, success and support — The Sun, The Star, Ace of Cups — mean yes. Cards of loss, conflict and painful endings — The Tower, Ten of Swords, Three of Swords — mean no. Cards of choice, waiting and hidden knowledge — The High Priestess, The Hanged Man, Two of Swords — give maybe.
The answers here are the same as in the Yes or No mode of the Numen app: 49 cards in the deck mean yes, 16 mean no and 13 mean maybe. The answer depends on the card itself, not on its orientation.
How to ask your question
Specific questions about you and the near future work best: “Should I apply for this job?” rather than “What will happen in my life?”. Ask about what you can influence, not about other people’s decisions.
If you draw maybe, rephrase the question or do a Past, Present, Future reading to see where the situation comes from and where it is heading.
