Relationship Tarot Spread

The relationship spread looks at a couple from both sides. The left column is you and your feelings, the right column is your partner and theirs, and the central line shows what connects you, the main challenge and where the relationship is going.

How to read the spread

Compare the cards across: “You” with “Partner”, and “Your Feelings” with “Partner’s Feelings”. Similar suits or energies suggest harmony; opposing ones point to something worth talking about.

The connection card (5) is the couple’s foundation. If it is strong and the challenge (6) is heavy, the relationship is worth the work; if the connection is weak, it is worth asking honestly what keeps you together.

Frequently asked questions

Does my partner need to be there?
No, you can do this spread on your own. If you want to read together, Numen has Couple Tarot: each of you draws your own cards and Vesper writes a joint reading.
Does it work for a past relationship?
For a breakup, Breakup & Reconciliation is a better fit — it focuses on causes, healing and the chance of getting back together.
